This is a very nice footed cup and saucer from England with beautiful maroon to lavender color roses. It is made of Bone China with a crown marking of England. The roses are on two sides of the cup, and saucer. The elegant handle is trimmed in gold on both sides, and end, with gold on the rim, and foot. The saucer has gold on the edge. The gold on both pieces has some wear, and mostly on the saucer. It still is a pretty set to have coffee or tea in, or to display with your finest china.
No chips, cracks, repairs, scratches, or discoloration.
Measurements: The cup is 3 7/16" across not including the handle x 2 7/8" high not including the handle. The saucer is 5 7/16" across x 1 1/16" high.
Actual weight before packing is 9.4 oz. It will ship at 1.8 lbs.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
