Welcome To Collectable-tyme Estate Sales
This is a very nice "Special Flowers" footed and swirl ribbed cup with saucer made of fine bone china from England. They are from the Rosina China Co. and made in Longton, Staffordshire, England. The bright colorful daffodil floral design is set on a white background with a scroll pattern set on the outer rim of the saucer, and inside of the cup. The cup has a daffodil on the inside. This is an older set made around the 60's-70's with a crown of England. 1941-present. Very little used. No. 6 & 5 on the cup, and 10 & 22 on the saucer.
The gold is located on both sides, plus outer part of the handle, and the top rim, plus foot on the cup. The saucer has a gold ring on the edge. There is very minor wear to the gold, and could be considered in mint condition.
It rings when tapped like crystal glass.
No chips, cracks, repairs, scratches, or discoloration.
Measurements: The cup 3 1/4" across not including the handle x 3" high not including the handle. The saucer is 5 5/8" across x 7/8" high.
Actual weight before packing is 7.8 oz. It will ship at 1.8 lb.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsable for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down.
All international customers must contact me before any purchase for a shipping quote.
After an item has been paid for it will be shipped out within two business days. There is a small handing fee to help pay for the packing materials and fuel to go to the post office.
I have a hundred or so of china yet to list. Stay in touch to see my unique collection. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.
