This is a nice vintage cup and saucer made in Churchill England. Backstamp is impressed. They are early pieces. When tapped it rings like crystal glass. They are made of porcelain, and have the blue willow pattern in blue and white. The only issue I have found is some crazing on the bottom of the cup, and light scratches in the center of the saucer. No chips, cracks, repairs or discoloration.
Measurements: The cup is 3 1/8" across the top not including the handle x 2 7/8" high. The saucer measures 5 1/2" across x 3/4" high.
Actual weight before packing is 11.8 oz. It will ship at 1.8 lbs.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsable for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down.
