These are elegant nice vintage service plates made in England, and called Ascot Alpine White Ironstone. The scene's are of two victorian village scene setting. The colors are bright, and crisp multi-color on a white background. The outer scalloped edge is trimmed in gold, and the outside of the green border around the scene. There are eight beautiful floral motifs, with a scroll design above four of them. On the back are four pottery marks caused when they were made. This is not a flaw, but it dates them to an earlier time. They have some light surface scratches on the front and back that do not take away from the beautiful display they create. The Company dates back to 1865, and were made in Burslem, Stafforddshire, England.

Measurements: They are 10 5/8" across x 1" high.
Actual weight before packing is 1 lb and 7.4 oz. It will ship at 2.8 lbs.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsable for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down.
After an item has been paid for it will be shipped out within two business days. There is a small handing fee to help pay for the packing materials and fuel to go to the post office.
