This is a nice cup and saucer made in England. The glaze finish and crisp colors are outstanding. When tapped it rings like crystal glass. It is made of Bone China with the crown marking of England. The gold trimming is in very good condition with very little noticeable wear. The gold trimming is located on the saucer edge, cup edge, and handle. The saucer and cup edges are lighly scalloped. It is in near perfect condition. on very close inspection you can see just a few very light scratches in the center of the saucer. Just looking at it they are not seen. Saucer has the number c l--cup f 7.
Measurements: Saucer is 5 1/2" across x 7/8" high. Cup is 3 3/8" across the top not including the handle x 2 3/4" high.
Actual weight before packing is 7.9 oz. It will ship at 1.8 lbs.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
