This ACEO print is from my original watercolor titled "A Spirited Lucky Star" depicting a ghostly Maneki Neko cat, with paw raised, cradling her Lucky Golden Skull.
Most of my prints come with a small story, written at the time the original artwork is created. This is printed on the backs of the cards, along with the title of the piece and date it was created. They are hand signed and hand numbered. This is #7 and is an open edition.
The story for this artwork reads: "This otherworldy feline is floating through a star filled night sky. She is holding a Lucky Golden Skull who aids in keeping evil spirits away as she holds up her Lucky Star. This friendly little cat entity will watch over you after the sun has set."
This card was printed with a color laser printer on acid free cover stock.
This ACEO (which stands for Art Cards, Editions & Originals) measures the standard 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is laminated. I choose to laminate cards which are prints and don't include any hand enhancing or painting as it makes them far more durable, increasing their longevity, and enriches the colors.
