Offered for your consideration is this vintage set of 1950s Lady Ellen Interchangeable Magne-gems.
The set contains a pair of earings and a pin or brooch and interchangeable magnetic stones in a variety of colors. There are six (6) sets of coordinating colored stones for your different moods and color desires. Pearl, coral, amethyst,onyx, gold, and pearlescent (a light yellow-gold shade) - three of each for your set of earings & pin. The flower shaped pin and earings are gold tone metal.
To change your color of stone simply pop out one stone and replace with another. The magnets hold the stones in place. The set is in its original metal box with leather look covering (which i believe is paper). There is a little dirt spot inside the display but, on the whole, the set is in very fine condition. There is no rust on the box, very little wear to the cover, and the set is in like new condition. It is highly probable the set was rarely or never used. They set belonged to my darling Aunt Roma who passed on at age 93 back in 1991.
