Really neat bells with classic clown tramp finials or handles. I don't know much about these except they are awfully cute.
I've seen these figurines in porcelain before but just can't place them. Spanish? Italian?
Each bell is four inches (4") tall and three inches (3") across the bell bottom.
The metal clapper is intact and attached via a paper clip. Since each bell exhibits the same attachemnt and there are no signs of wear, I must assume they were either made that way (really?) or originally on a thin strand which the previous owner (who bought it new)replaced.
