A simple but collectible Dishware Line, Watertown Lifetime CO was begun in Watertown CT in 1915, a line produced for the military out of a different form of melamine that, after the war, was released for domestic use. In 1950, "Lifetime" could be purchased in New York at the following stores: Gimbels, Bloomingdale's, and Abraham & Straus.
This light salmon (almost pink color) 5 1/2 inch dessert plate is in terrific condition.
