This is a 1960 hardcover edition of "Philosophical Analylisis: It's Development Between the Two World Wars" by J.O. Urmson and published by Oxford at the Claredon Press: London. The book covers the "development of the views of analytical philosophers about the nature of philosophy between the two world wars" and gives a concise account of som interesting philosophical development, as well as provides a historical background. Some of the contents included in this book are: Philosophical Analysis and Logical Atomism, Logical Positivism and the downfall of Logical Atomism, and the Beginnings of contemporary Philosophy. Each of the previous sections are further broken down into several distinct catagories. The Dustjacket is included and is in Good to Very Good condition. There is some age yellowing and the usual minor wear around the edges. The Book itself is in Very Good, Excellent to Near Fine condition. The outer cover and binding have virtually no signs of wear. There is however some very minor slight signs of wear along the bottom edge of the front and back cover. The inner pages are all clean and unmarked. The binding is tight and in beautiful condition.
