This jumper is in cranberry solid & print velour with extensive applique work and embroidery at the bottom of the skirt. It is a really charming piece of art in my opinion.
I will give pictures as there is quite a bit to see in this jumper. The little girl on the bicycle has little yarn braids and eyelet on her skirt.
The front panel of the jumper is a border print that is accented with blue satin ribbon. The border print at the bottom of the jumper extends across the back of the jumper also.
For some reason the design looks Dutch to me. I am unfamiliar with this brand and the label gives very little information aside from the word Gennie (may be Genniee).
There is no size label so I will give measurments and please base your buying decision of the measurements given not on my estimated sizing.
Measurements: Underarm to Underarm 19", length of armhole opening 9 3/4", Overall length 42". The jumper is gathered very slightly from the high waist which begins just below the armhole openings. The jumper measures about 29 1/2" across at the hip area.
There are 2 side seam pockets and a back 16" zipper. The armhole and neck openings are both edged in the design that is in the border print of the skirt.
I think this jumper is in very good condition overall. It is definately preowned and shows only slight evidence of that. It is not faded, no stains or tears or wear but the white eyelet on the little girls skirt has a pink tinge to it. Not unsightly but it is there. Also there are small belt loops on the sides but no belt. Otherwise the jumper looks very nice and most unusual.
I suspect it is European but am really not sure. It is quite interesting and very unique!
