A lovely Victorian Era purple and lilac colored ensemble for Barbie's little sister Kelly or friends. (Doll not included)
You will receive the following items:
A Victorian Era gown made from purple crochet cotton / thread. It is accented with lilac crochet cotton trim along the bottom, neck and sleeves etc. The bottom of the dress has a scalloped shell pattern made in lilac and purple. The back of the dress is longer than the front and has many layers of attached purple ruffles with lilac trim. One picture displays an attached small purple ruffle trimmed in lilac along the bottom when the dress is turned slightly upward. These colors are purple and lilac instead of the blue tinge that the pictures show.
At the back of the waist is a small ruffle in purple with lilac trim and is accented by a matching lilac crochet rose. Underneath the small ruffle is a long ruffle or train with many layers of ruffles trimmed with lilac edging.
The long sleeves are extra wide toward the top to give them a puffy appearance and end with narrow cuffs done in lilac. By putting the sleeves higher you can display the sleeves differently making them even larger / puffier at the top. (To help dress Kelly easier in some costumes it helps to wrap her hands in cellophane because of her spread fingers. This stops them from being caught up in the stitches.) The front of the gown has an attached peplum trimmed in lilac. The back of the gown has a snap closure.
This ensemble has a matching large purple hat trimmed in lilac and adorned with large fluffy purple (not dark blue) feathers and large crochet lilac rose.
To keep the chill off Kelly this ensemble comes with a matching purple cape with lilac pattern edging to match the edging of the gown.
Also included is a pair of tall purple boots with lilac ties.
To complete this lovely ensemble is a matching lilac purse with a crochet purple rose in the center. This purse opens to carry Kelly's little treasures.
