Kelly is wearing a gypsy costume made of Burgundy and Almond Pink crochet cotton, Gold glass beads and Pink glass beads, various trims, and Gold Lame. The pink glass beads match the color of the dress perfectly. If you want a truly different Kelly outfit from all the others this is it!
the photos show a reddish color but it is definitely burgundy. This is my 2nd in a series of gypsy costumes and I will have more listed.
The following items are included:
The dress has a wide hoop style skirt, trimmed by long fringe at the bottom. Slightly above the fringe is thick twisted gold trim. Along the neckline I crochet a trim with gold lame. The back of the dress has one pearl for closure.
Tied to the side of the dress waist is a Burgundy shawl with extra long fringe. It can also be worn around Kelly?s shoulders. I prefer it around the waist as a gypsy might have worn it. For a different variation the shawl can also be tied at the back. Down the center of the shawl are loops are gold glass beads and gold colored fringe.
To keep Kelly's hair neat she wears a long elaborate hair net (sometimes called a snood) decorated throughout with gold glass beads. At the very front are loops of pink glass beads and crochet gold lame. To the right side are 2 long loops of pink beads and a long loop of gold glass beads and gold threads.
Kelly's purse handle is made of the same matching gold twist trim that adorns her dress. Golden glass beads and pink glass beads lavishly decorate the front of the purse. To one side of the purse handle is a crochet trim made with gold lame trim. The lame trim is also along the edge of the purse on the front. The purse can be opened to hold little treasures.
Included with this costume is a tambourine trimmed in gold threads, burgundy ribbon and gold bells.
