KELLY VICTORIAN VIOLET CARNATION ENSEMBLE

This is a lovely Victorian Era Lilac & White ensemble for Barbie's little sister Kelly or friends. (Doll not included) Item Number 13149866 and Item number 13149829 are the same.

You will receive the following items:

A Victorian Era gown made with lilac crochet cotton / thread. It is accented with white crochet cotton trim along the bottom of the gown, peplum and sleeves etc. The bottom of the gown has a scalloped shell pattern with the back being longest. I lifted the bottom white shells slightly so that you can notice the attached small lilac and white shell ruffle under the front and sides of the gown. At the neck is a white ribbon bow that is removable.

Attached to the back of the gown is a bustle and white ribbon bow. The bow can be untied and removed.

The long sleeves are extra wide toward the top to give them a puffy appearance and end with narrow white cuffs. By putting the sleeves higher you can display the sleeves differently making them even larger / puffier at the top. (To help dress Kelly easier in some costumes it helps to wrap her hands in cellophane because of her spread fingers. This stops them from being caught up in the stitches.) The front of the gown has an attached peplum trimmed in white. The back of the gown has a snap closure.

This ensemble has a matching lilac hat trimmed in white and adorned with a large crochet carnation and white tulle. The carnation itself is made with white crochet cotton and trimmed with lilac on its outer edge. Kelly likes to wear the hat on the side but it can also be worn with the adornment at the back.

Included is a pair of tall white and lilac boots. The boots are a little higher than the knees and have a little pearl closing to the side. You can also slip them on and off without undoing the closing.

To complete this lovely ensemble is a matching lilac and white parasol. It is trimmed with white cotton and white tulle and smaller crochet carnation to match the hat. A white ribbon bow is tied to the parasol and can also be removed.
