The permanent labels inside the jacket at the neckline say: Lauren Ralph Lauren. The second smaller label says Made in USA, and a third one lists the size as 10. There are a few tags on the side seam of the jacket lining. One of the tags says dry clean, and one says made in USA, and gives the fiber content as 97% worsted wool, and 3% other fiber. I am not sure what worsted wool is, but this fabric does have a nice weave and texture to it. Ralph Lauren always uses high quality fabrics, of course. The color of the fabric is a dark navy blue.
This jacket does not look as if it has ever been worn. However, the buttons are slightly tarnished. I do not know if they could be polished up or not, but I like the way the buttons look. The jacket is also slightly wrinkled. The center back hem vent is wrinkled, and needs to be pressed flat again. The jacket could use a good lint brushing, too.
The jacket has a stand up collar. The jacket buttons up the front, with gold toned buttons, which are slightly tarnished, as previously noted. The buttons do not go all the way to the end of the jacket; they stop just above where the pockets are, and the bottom is open. The buttons are on the lightweight side. They have an attractive crest design on them, and say Ralph Lauren on them. There are two front pockets, with flaps over them. These are real, functional pockets, although they are very small. There are four smaller gold toned buttons with the crest on them, on the back of each sleeve near the hemline, and two more buttons, which are the same size as the front ones, on the back of the jacket, one at each side of the start of the back center vent. The jacket has princess seaming, front and back. The jacket is fully lined. This is a very beautiful jacket. It appears to be very well made and is truly gorgeous. It is very elegant and classy looking. This would look great with either slacks or a skirt.
