The label in the coat says: Lauren Jeans Company Ralph Lauren. It also has some other wording on it. The size tag says M. There is another tag on a side seam that gives the fabric content as 100% cotton. The fabric is thick cotton canvas. This coat is very sturdily made. The canvas has a striped design, with red, white and blue colors.
This coat is on the shorter side. The coat has a zippered front, and a flap that snaps over the zipper. The snaps have a brass tone type finish to them. They say Lauren, RL 1967 on them. The top part of the snap has a round hole, and the bottom part of the snap fills that hole.
There are three pockets on this coat. There is one at the top front, and two at the bottom front. The bottom pockets are on the large side. The bottom pockets have a flap over them, and a piece of canvas tape as a decoration on each flap. The flap folds over the pockets, but doesn’t fasten in any manner. One of the pockets has a little patch on it that says: LRL 067 and has an anchor type design on it. The underarms have a fabric patch on them that has vent holes. The vent holes have metal rims in the same brass finish as the snaps. I don’t know what this is called, but I think its so that the coat doesn’t get too hot.
The sleeves fasten with a snap at the hem of the sleeve. I have a coat with this exact same style of sleeve, and the sleeves are easy to roll up if they are too long. This coat does not look like it was ever worn. However, there is a small area with a few red dots near the hem of one of the sleeves. I have included a closeup photograph of that in the listing, which is the last photograph. The dot can also be seen in the other photograph showing the bottom of the sleeve. I am not sure what this is, or if this could be cleaned off or not. It is on the faint side, in my opinion. However, please take note of this and do not bid if it is a concern.
