The coat is dark black in color. There are no spots on the coat; any spots are from my camera. This coat is in excellent condition. It looks barely worn. There are no stains, or holes in the outside of the coat. The only flaw I see with the coat is that there is a separation in the seam inside the lining of the coat, above the back vent, which could easily be stitched back up. I have included photographs of this in the listing. The coat is a single breasted style, and buttons up the front with 3 buttons. I am not sure if the buttons are plastic, or if they are another type of material.
Although there were two labels inside the jacket, there doesn’t appear to be one which states the size for some reason. The coat measures approximately 24.5 inches across the front, from underarm to underarm. The sleeves measure approximately 24 inches long, measuring from the top of the sleeve, where it meets the shoulder seam, to the hem of the sleeve. The measurement from the base of the collar to the hem of the coat, measuring down the center of the back of the coat, is approximately 39 inches long. Please take note of these measurements, to determine if the coat is the size you are looking for.
The label that was at the inside neckline was hanging by a few stitches, and has now come off. It can be sewed back on, of course. That label says ‘100% pure Mongolian cashmere.’ I have been told that Mongolian cashmere is one of the finest kinds of cashmere. The fabric is thick, and extremely soft. There is a second label inside the chest area that says ‘Alpacuna.’ That is the brand name of this coat. The label also says ‘Contains no vicuna.’
Then there is a label that says ‘Yale Genton West Springfield London Shop.’ That is a local shop that sells very expensive menswear. The coat has the Workers of American label in the inside pocket. This is a very attractive and luxurious coat, in a classic style, which appears to be impeccably tailored.
