The background of the sweater is a cream color. The beadwork is very nice. The sweater closes with hook and eyes, and the beadwork is down the front of each side. It is also around the hem, and the bottom of the sleeves, and the back top of the sweater. The design is of flowers and leaves. The flowers are in pink, blue and yellow. It looks as if all the beads are kind of a transparent, and the color of the thread under the beads is what gives the beads their color. The flowers have beaded centers that dangle slightly. There are also little iridescent white seed pearls on the sweater. The beadwork is in very good condition. The fabric has no rips or holes that I could see; however it does have a few light stains. There is a light stain on the back of the sweater. This can be seen in the photo of sweater back. The stain is about 9 inches long, and about an inch across. There is also a rust colored stain inside the lining of the sweater, and that stain has come through to the exterior fabric, and is visible, in a small area on the back of the sweater. These stains are not very noticeable in my opinion, but please take note that this sweater does have some light staining, and do not bid if it is a concern.
