This might be earlier than the 1950's from the style..
This lovely, china, teapot, made in Japan, is 6-1/2 inches from spout to handle,
5 inches tall, and 4 inches wide.
Nice decal work, with painted fill-in; gold trim,
some is worn off; and an irridescsent glaze at the top, and on the lid.
It is in great condition too... No chips, or crazing.
