Commemorative Pottery Jug
for Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation - 1953
This pottery jug has gilt rims on both the base & lip
The front is decorated with the Windsor Coat of Arms in full color
the rim is inscribed
"Queen Elizabeth II
June 1953 - Coronation".
The rear has the Royal Crown & cypher in Gilt
Manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.
Dimensions: 4 1/4" High - Width: 5 3/4" (handle to lip)
The bottom is marked: "Gray's Pottery
Made in Stoke-On-Trent
England"
and is numbered "9446 8"
This jug is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing
However there is a tiny flaw in the gilding on the spout
