Coronation Plate
for Queen Elizabeth II 1953.


This vintage rectangular ivory color Bone China Plate
with a sepia portrait of the new queen & a cartouche inscribed "Coronation of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II
June 2nd 1953" in it's center

It measures 10 1/8" x 8 5/8".

The back is stamped: "Radfords Bone China
Made In England" in green.

The edge of the plate is rimmed in gold.
with embossed & gilt decoration on each side

This plate is in very good condition, with no cracks or crazing however it has 3 tiny chips along it's edge.

I suspect, from their location that they result from an inappropriate plate hanger
