Crown Devon Coronation Plate
Issued to commemorate
Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953.
This rare Crown Devon Plate features a sepia portrait of the new Queen surrounded by a raised green ring, a pink rose, a colored crown, a colored floral garland with a rose, thistles, & clovers, and 2 yellow ribbons inscribed "Elizabeth II"
& "Coronation June 2nd 1953".
It has a heavily embossed raised border & both the rim of the plate and the center are ringed in gold.
Dimensions: 10" diameter.
The back is stamped: "Crown Devon
Fielding's
Made in England"
This plate is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks,
however it has some minimal crazing commensorate with it's age.
