Cleaning Instructions:
After cooking with your Old Mountain cookware, clean it by placing it in hot water and bringing it to a boil. Avoid using detergent, as it will remove the seasoning. Do not put hot cast iron into cold water to prevent warping or cracking. After boiling, pour out the water and wipe dry with a paper towel. If food sticks, dislodge it with a spoon. Avoid using abrasive items to scrub the surface, as this can damage the seasoning. While the trivet is still warm, apply a thin coating of oil or spray on all surfaces.
If you notice a metallic taste or signs of rust, wash with hot, soapy water, scour off the rust, and reseason your cookware. Store your cast iron cookware in a cool, dry location. If storing with a lid, place a paper towel between the lid and base to allow air circulation.
Seasoning Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Wash cast iron with hot, soapy water, and a stiff brush. Rinse and dry.
Completely coat inside and outside surfaces with melted vegetable oil, shortening, lard, or bacon fat.
Place cookware on the middle rack for 30 minutes. Remove cookware and wipe it almost dry to prevent pooling of oil. Place back in the oven for another 30 minutes.

All orders shipped to Hawaii and Alaska will be charged actual shipping and will ship via USPS.
Canadian and all other international destinations will be shipped via UPS, FedEx or DHL depending on which offers the best rate.
Please email us to request a return authorization from our customer service department.
Returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge.
Returns must be reported within 5 days of receiving your order.
We do not accept returns on seasonal or closeout merchandise and wall borders.
Shipping fees on return items are non-refundable.
When calling in an order without item numbers, we make every attempt to ship the correct item. If an item is incorrect we will reship the correct item with no additional shipping fee. The return shipping on the original item will be at the customer's expense.
Every order is important and we do our best to ship all orders as complete as possible and pack each order with care. Unfortunately, sometimes circumstances beyond our control may result in an order that arrives at it's destination with signs of a "rough" journey. If this should happen please contact us as soon as possible after the delivery. All shortages and damage must be reported within 5 days of receipt of order. If any damage is found upon inspection of your order, you must save the original carton and packing materials and call customer service. Shipping fees on returns are non-refundable.
Claims of damages or missing items from purchases made at the warehouse can be reshipped at the customer's expense or you can receive a credit on your account.
