PORTMEIRION Birds of Britain (Acorn and leaf Rim) Salad Serving Bowl with a Waxwing bird in the inside center. The outside of the bowl is surrounded by various birds.
I have taken a close up picture of an area inside the bowl and one outside the bowl to show what I believe is crazing in the glaze. I could be wrong in my assessment as I'm no expert. Perhaps they just fine line cracks in the glaze or something that happened in the gazing process itself.
I've only found it in these 2 areas because I've washed the bowl. Washing apparently brings out crazing when wet, otherwise I would have not seen it at all. When the bowl is dry it's hard to see. On the inside of bowl it's above the birds beak (very hard to see). On the outside of the bowl it's by the twigs the bird is sitting on. You should see that one going toward the base of the bowl in the picture.

The graphics / birds outside and inside of the bowl are intact and I don't see any scratches on them or loss of color. It retains a glossy shine without stains inside and out.
This bowl is truly a beautiful piece of art!
