Are these fog lights original equipment manufactured? No, these fog lights are manufactured by BlingLights. Many of our customers are able to install the rear light kit in a period of approximately 45 minutes to 2 hours. More involved installations may require drilling to position the lights where you want them. This kit includes mounting brackets that mount independently of the factory mounting points. The end result will be a clean look if done with care. For those uncomfortable with the install, have the kit professionally installed at a local car stereo shop.
Will this kit fit my vehicle listed in the page title? We have conducted extensive research and have sold hundreds of kits to customers with your same vehicle, with no fitment issues. Lamps are intended for installation within the factory fog lamp openings for vehicles without optional fog lights or as a direct upgrade replacement for the factory fog lights. The lights are meant to mount within the reflector holes from the inside of the bumper and kit includes everything needed to install as shown.
Does the kit include everything I need? Yes, the kit includes 2 lamp enclosures for left and right side, powerful H3-55 watt 4100K bulbs, adjustable mounting hardware, complete wiring harness with wireless remote, installation directions, free phone and email support and lifetime no-fault.
Can I hook the lights up to my factory light switch instead of the included switch? Of course, just run the wire to the factory switch instead of the included harness. The included harness can also be substituted with the factory wiring harness.
What types of bulbs come with this kit? Two powerful, genuine BlingLights H3 bulbs with an output of 55 watts a piece, 110 watts total! These bulbs are designed for maximum output and durability. The bulbs generally last many years without the need for replacement. There is a good chance the bulbs will outlast the life of the vehicle. H3 replacement bulbs are a common size bulb and can be purchased through us or anywhere else automotive bulbs are sold.

I removed my round bumper reflectors probably 4 years ago and started looking for 12 volts LED lights that would fit in there. I guess LED because i thought they'd be flat or not have much depth
to them.
Just recently I gave up and instead ordered the 2011-2013 lens assembly because they would fit my 2010 and they were redesigned so that the backup light was on the bottom of the assembly instead of the top like mine. All I would have to do is rearrange the bulbs. After market was $80 each, then I was gonna spend $25 for a pair of Sylvania LED ZEVO lights cuz I read they were the brightest. (so that's $185 total).
While I'm waiting for this parcel, I Googled (like a hundred times before) "poor backup lights Highlander". and came across a blog that said the 2011-2013's weren't much better. Damn! So I kept following this blog (toyotanation) and links where people were trying all these different solutions, then holy cow, a picture of my 4 year old idea. Bling Lights!
Well I got them yesterday and they fit perfectly and it was pretty easy to do.
I've attached 3 pics. One of 1 original backup light and 1 bling light. One of both bling lights, then one so you can see how the light is shining on the ground behind the car.
