Introduction:
Halloween Grange #317 was organized October 31, 1911, and was given the name because of the date of its organization.
The hall was purchased in 1939 and a large class of candidates joined that year. The burnings of the mortgage ceremony was on October 30, 1945.
Fund raisers have been suppers, including strawberry festivals, agricultural fairs, minstrel shows, jamborees or carnivals, whist parties and flea markets.
A percentage of our fund raising income is dispensed for charity.
We have held special occasions to entertain the elderly and have participated in many local programs for improving the community.
We participate in the National Community Service program and the Grange of the year contest.
We exhibit at the annual Hopkinton Fair, receiving honors.
The Grange is a family organization. The eligible age for joining is 14 and membership is open toall.br> We are proud of our Grange and the principles for which it stands - Faith, Hope, Charity and Fidelity.

(I include ALL names in ALL fundraiser-type cookbooks because I know how frustrating it is to hope and wonder if specific contributors are included in a book, only to find out they’re not, upon receipt.) Covers and pages are tight to all 16 plastic spirals. No tears, no chips, no defective spirals, no missing pages. Covers have staining as front cover shows in above image; more staining over lower half of back cover. Light wear to bottom of front cover and straightened dog-ear of upper corner on back cover. Only writing is on page 22, where the Date Balls recipe ingredient of nuts is crossed out and the word dates is penned. Books are NOT from smoke-free or pet-free environment.
