It is made from a GP Grosvenor stainless steel fork. The Grosvenor Cutlery brand was established in 1928, and is a highly regarded and respected brand within the Australian market, known for its high quality and classic to contemporary styling.
Since each fork pendant is lovingly handmade, small differences in shape and surface detail cannot be avoided. These are created using stainless steel forks, and a lot of work using only hand tools and sand paper.
Individual fork handles are shaped in unique ways. Every piece reveal the sometimes not so subtle battle I fight to bend them into new shapes after decades of neglect. The result is a second life for this cutlery piece that will see it treasured for many years to come.
Care for this pendant as you would any piece of jewelry. Keep it dry and use a soft polishing cloth occasionally if it needs a bit of an extra shine. It's pretty simple; it is a fork after all! I use car polish to give it that glossy finish
