You are buying a pre-viewed, ORIGINAL VHS video, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) X - The Tournament
UFC 10 marked the UFC's return to the single elimination tournament format that it was best know for at the time (at UFC IX - Motor City Madness, also available from us, the tournament format was replaced by single bouts, which would become the standard for the UFC in later years).
UFC X also featured several firsts, such as the first appearance of Mark "The Hammer" Coleman, known to Mixed Martial Arts fans as "The Godfather of Ground and Pound", due to his introducing the idea of a wrestler gaining a favourable mounted position and then using strikes in order to gain a submission win or referee stoppage. It was also the first time long time ring announcer Bruce Buffer announced the fights inside the Octagon.
The card featured an eight man, single elimination tournament, and two alternate bouts, in case of an injury to one of the fighers during the main tournament.

- UFC VIII - David vs. Goliath Champion Don "The Predator" Frye vs. UFC VII - The Brawl in Buffalo & UFC IX - Motor City Madness veteran, Mark Hall
- Brian Johnston vs. Scott Fiedler, both making their UFC debut. Johnston would fight again in the UFC, but Fiedler would drop from Mixed Martial Arts competition after this event.
- Mark "The Hammer" Coleman in his UFC debut against Israeli fighter Moti Horenstein, also making his UFC debut.
- UFC VIII - David vs. Goliath & UFC IX - Motor City Madness veteran, Gary "Big Daddy" Goodridge vs. newcomer John Campetella, who would also leave Mixed Martial Arts following this event.
