Fans of midwest independent wrestling will recognise the namers of Steel Domain wrestling school and Chicago area wrestling promotion co-founders Ace Steel & Danny Dominion. Steel has appeared on World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) television many times, most notably as "Donald Trump" in a skit with "Rosie O'Donnell", which earned him a Developmental Contract with WWE.
Also from the midwest is Vito Thomaselli, who has, like Dominion and Steel, trained many wrestlers, and is also notable for his tag team, The Iron Saints, with brothers Brandon and Sal.
