Why a cross?
God loves all children, and He loves the struggling parents who are caring for these afflicted children. Many years ago, I was in awe of a young mother with endless energy raising a disabled daughter. Patient repetition, new approaches, never giving up, and always striving for more. Looking back, I have come to realize it was her deep faith that sustained her.
A decoration that can be used for encouragement, spreading awareness, and for many years on your Christmas tree. It makes a thoughtful bookmark too.
Each cross is uniquely colored, just as autism uniquely effects each child. Rotating four colors of rescued yarn to four locations gives 24 possible color combinations, and yarn shades may vary.
I accept PayPal, but can invoice using Square if you prefer.
Most packages will be sent using USPS the next business day after receiving your payment; the same day if possible.
Shipping Included:
I know 'free shipping' is very popular, but everyone should realize that ultimately there is no such thing. No matter how nice I am to the postal clerk, they must be paid. Any business offering it has increased item prices to cover the shipping expense. I would like to be honest about it and say 'Shipping Included'.
Please contact me within ten days of your order date and I'm sure we will find a solution. I charge a 10% restocking fee on returns. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, and since shipping is a service provided by a third party, return postage cannot be refunded. Custom orders cannot be returned.
Item Availability:
Many of my items are true one-of-a-kind creations, as I prefer to work with rescued/recycled materials, and I couldn’t make them again, even if I wanted to. I remove sold items quickly after a craft fair. If an item is no longer available, I will try to find a suitable replacement, or refund the transaction with my sincere apology.
