The model was made of January & Woods Kentucky All Purpose Yarn; 4 skeins (1 skein is about 70 yards) in bright blue and 1 skein of gold.
You will need one set of number 3 straight knitting needles and one set of number 3 double pointed knitting needles and a 00 steel crochet hook.
This could be made of any desired yarn; make a swatch to determine the number of stitches per inch.
