This is a lovely Victorian Era purple and lilac colored ensemble for Barbie's little sister Kelly or friends. (Doll not included) The purple is similar to a grape color. This photo does not do this outfit justice and looks so much nicer in person!
You will receive the following items:
A Victorian Era gown made of purple crochet cotton / thread. It is accented in a lilac crochet cotton scalloped shell pattern trim along the bottom of the gown. The back of the gown is longer than the front and has layers of purple ruffles with lilac trim. A matching lilac crochet rose accents the upper part of the ruffle. The ruffle is held by a lilac ribbon bow and can be removed by untying the bow to give the gown a different appearance.
The long sleeves are extra wide toward the top to give them a puffy appearance ending with narrow cuffs. By pulling the sleeves higher you can display the sleeves differently making them even larger / puffier at the top. (To help dress Kelly easier in some costumes it helps to wrap her hands in cellophane because of her spread fingers. This stops them from being caught up in the stitches.) The front of the gown has an attached peplum trimmed in lilac. The back of the gown has a snap closure.
This ensemble has a matching large purple hat trimmed in lilac and adorned with large fluffy lilac feathers, 2 large crochet lilac roses and lilac ribbon tied in a bow.
To keep the chill off Kelly this ensemble comes with a matching purple cape with lilac trim edging to match the edging of the gown. Tying the lilac ribbon in a bow will close the cape.
Also included is a tall pair of purple boots with crochet lilac ties.
To complete this lovely ensemble is a matching lilac purse with a crochet lilac rose in the center. Above the rose a ribbon is tied in a bow. This purse opens to carry Kelly�s little treasures.
