I have played for 40 years and hit with every racket out there. But I always come back to my Kennex Pro which I have had for some time. Certain rackets provide more power..others more spin... but this racket feels like an old glove to me and I know exactly how it responds on every kind of shot. My grips have always been fairway leather..no overwraps. Sure I have callouses but nothing lets me feel the bevels like leather. I have tried all the modern grips and still pay the premium to get my fairway.
Some days I sucked and said to myself that's it time for a change of racket but then I come back to reality and recognize it was me not the racket that messed up.
