Zinnias are a great classic garden flower and grow profusely until frost. They are excellent for cutting, and attract bees, butterflies, and birds. Deer will not eat them.
They are sun loving to partial shade flowers. Pick the deadheads and they will produce even more buds.
In warm climates, Zinnias will re-seed and come back the following year.
You can start them indoors to be planted outdoors after the last chance of frost. Or, you can plant them outdoors in the spring or summer. They will grow 36 inches.
