This offer is for a very rare set of 3 oil on Bakelite, still life paintings by listed artist Vittorio Guidotti. The artist is known primarily for his watercolors, and I have yet to see any other oil paintings come up for sale. Each of the miniature paintings are 3-1/2 x 3 inches, are signed by the artist with initials in the lower right of the subject, and are set under domed glass in 6-1/2 x 5-3/4 inch wood frames with a velvet liner. The two darker background paintings have full artist studio information printed on the cardboard backing, and the lighter background painting has a small studio stamp on the paper.
The paintings are in very fine condition, and the face of each of the frames display minimal condition flaws due to their age. The paper seal on the backs are tattered and one shows a small moisture stain.
