This Argonaut Shell Nautilis blue opalescent dish is a whimsy that was stretched from the berry bowl shape. It has gorgeous, rich opalescence and was produced in the early 1900s and is over 100 years old. Over time this mold has been owned by Northwood, Dugan, and National Glass Company.
The foot has a nice, clean mold release and is an excellent example of fine glassware.
This piece is about 3 ¼” tall from foot to rim and the boat portion is 8 ½” by 5” wide.

I have been a dealer of antique and collectable glass for over 10 years locally at vendor malls and online. I have collected far longer than that! I am experienced and identify my items with care. I will describe them to the best of my ability with condition noted. Locally I've had the same customers for years and sell special pieces to other dealers.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns so that I can help! I always accept returns in the event of seller error.
