There is a brass insert screwed into where the burner goes because it had been converted for electric use. The glass has a chip at one spot in the middle edge where it is widest. There is another much smaller chip on the opposite side there. The brass where it is adhered to the bottom of the glass has a crack in it that looks as though it was done when it was originally fitted. It doesn't seat perfectly and I think they probably forced it. Small edge chips in the marble base. The screw stud on the bottom extends a bit down further than the marble base, making it wobble on a flat surface the way it is now. It also needs to be tightened up a bit. There are inclusions in the glass of those little white lumps you sometimes see. It weighs slightly over 2 lbs.
