Fenton Circa 2003 Topaz 7" Candy/Puff

This candy box or sometimes referred to as a puff box was made for the Connoisseur line for 2003. It was called "Dahlias on Topaz Opalescent". It was probably one of the first ones developed by Frances Burton, designer at the factory. Frances would have done a sample first and signed it. When it was approved by the Fenton family, she would have done a few more in this pattern for other decorators to copy her design on for the regular line. This was a numbered piece, however, because it was a "sample" no limited edition number was ever assigned to it. This item would have been one of the AS DESCRIBED in the heading as she (Frances Burton), herself, decorated it and signed it, It is a Topaz Opalescent (Vaseline) glass treatment.
Then, when Mike Fenton was at our location doing a signing event, he graciously signed and dated the bottom also with his etching pen. I have filled in the etching with a pencil so the camera would pick it up.There are no chips-cracks or repairs. However there may be some factory flaws...I did not see any that stood out at me. No Original Boxes.
