Fenton Silvercrest Candle Holder Cornucopia (pair) Ribbed

These candle stick holders, as a Silvercrest collector myself, are very hard to find. Look at them closely and you will see that the sides and bottom are RIBBED. Most of what you see in the market place are smooth sided. These were the early, 1940s and were never reproduced after that. I have not been able to find out when these really were made. The smooth side Cornucopia pair didn't come around until after 1950. For reference, the Ruby Silvercrest ones that were made for the JAY WILLFRED CO that look like these but in ruby glass and not silvercrest were made in the mid 1940s. That was the last time I saw this mould being used, which leads me to believe that the moulds might have been melted down for the war effort in order to build military equipment at that time, but I don't know that for sure.
There are flaws on these pieces as is to be expected on older glass. The crimps are not exact to each other. One is pulled up differently to the other. To be expected in items that are handmade and being this old. One, center hole doesn't appear to be exactly round; the center hole that holds the candle, and the other is slightly rocky on a hard surface. They are about 6-1/2 inches tall and about 5 inches long. Now I don't see any chips, cracks or repairs, however these have been pre-owned and used and condition should be considered as such.
