The Nightcomers is based on Henry James' book, Turn of the Screw. Two children whose parents are away are mesmerized by Quint, a groundskeeper played by Marlon Brando. A dark brooding story of impressionable children witnessing erotic liaisons between their governness and Quint. Both get canned, and the enraged kiddies take matters into their own hands.
Brando's Irish brogue is one of the best things about the movie that was made just prior to his resurrection with the Godfather later the same year. The DVD is brand new, still has security tape, from my private collection. Clean, colorful case and perfect disk, watched once.
